You need to buy this book - it's a great novel, vibrant and colourful with a rich vein of insights, wit and wisdom. Despite the cover - I would recommend it to men and women alike. I really couldn't put it down - and when I turned the final page I knew I had read a beautifully constructed, intelligent and moving work. Above all, it is a feel-good novel with a wonderful sense of completeness. It also wrestles with some philosophy and is one of the first novels to discuss the "meme"!
